wonderful location and historical charm

historical charm well appointed room friendly staff delicious food

i found the hotel to be beautifully restored, highlighting its original convent features. my room was well appointed. the internal square offered a lovely space for drinks. the staff was very friendly and helpful too. i also enjoyed delicious dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant.

I thought the swimming pool was quite small. It felt more like a jacuzzi. guests expecting a proper swimming experience may be disappointed by its size.

perfect location friendly staff good tea

I stayed for three nights and found the location perfect. It is tucked back off the main street, so it is very quiet. the staff were friendly and helpful. afternoon tea at the hotel was interesting and good, i thought.

I noticed the hotel heavily restricts award availability. It refused to offer one even with multiple standard rooms available for cash! after my email, the two nights available on points vanished immediately. This seems an ihg issue.
